Mindful Walking To Find Inspiration

Do you ever sit staring into the blankness just waiting for inspiration to come?
Do you find that you’ve got so caught up in your day to day worries and stresses that the act of thinking and decision making feels like you’re climbing up a mountain?
All you want to do is crawl back into bed and wait for things to feel better?
You are not alone!
Sometimes just pressing pause and taking a break can have a huge impact on our headspace.
Other times, stepping out into nature can be the cure we’re looking for.
At times when I’m feeling stuck (and fear that my creativity has left me), I find that mindful walking down quiet English lanes is a perfect way to clear my mind and make space for new ideas to form.
Taking time to be present in the moment - allowing all your senses to become ignited by the wonders of the natural environment around you - is a wonderful gift to give yourself.
Upon returning from a peaceful walk in nature, my mind is often buzzing with new musical ideas, my fingers are bursting with notes, and when I sit at the piano, a sense of calm washes over me.
In that moment I feel inspired.
Creativity has been restored!
Do you find that mindful walking helps your creativity?
