Berries of Wintergreen by Catherine Wilson is mystical, peaceful and has a wintry feel.  
 
The 3, 2, 3 phrasing of the quavers / eighth-notes and the spread / arpeggiated chords both help build intrigue.

The open fifths create an oldy-worldy feel while the sparse melody is interspersed with bursts of movement that build towards the Tierce de Picardie at the end that hints that perhaps the mistletoe has thawed!

Evergreen Shadows by Catherine Wilson is atmospheric, hypnotic with a mysterious feel.  
 
The four bar melody is repeated with embellishments towards the middle of the piece, then unwinds back to where it started to mimic the changes of shadows cast throughout the day.
